The Parliamentary Crisis Cell decided to hold a meeting tomorrow, Monday, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Hassan Al-Kaabi, to discuss the repercussions of the surge in COVID-19 cases.
The media office of the First Deputy stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Sunday, that " The Parliamentary Crisis Cell will hold a meeting tomorrow Monday, and in the presence of a number of officials in the Ministry of Health to determine the repercussions of the high rate of infection and death tolls of COVID-19 cases.
The statement added, the meeting will provide immediate support and the necessary and possible assistance to the ministry of health cadres (the White Army) in all health institutions, as well as educating citizens to adhere to preventive measurements and encourage them to vaccinate.
