Ministry of Health and Environment announced upon 48 new cases of Coronavirus in Iraq.
“The Ministry's labs diagnosed 48 new cases with Coronavirus distributed as follows: Baghdad; Rusafa three cases, the Medical City four cases, Baghdad; Al-Karkh two cases, Basra six cases, Kirkuk one case, Najaf ten cases, Sulaymaniyah one case, Karbala three cases, Wasit two cases, Muthanna four cases, Diyala one case, Erbil five cases, Duhok five cases, and Maysan one case,” said the Ministry in a statement to Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement pointed out, "Two new deaths were recorded in Baghdad, Rusafa, and Basra," noting that "Nine new cases of complete recovery were recorded, distributed as follows: Najaf two cases, Sulaymaniyah four cases, Karbala one case, Wasit one case, and Diwaniyah one case,"
The total number of diagnosed cases in Iraq reached 506 cases and the total deaths reached 42 cases, while the total cases of complete recovery recovered 131 cases.
