Ministry of Health announced that 2310 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, while 2036 cases with the virus have recovered throughout Iraq.
Around 15737 tested in the specialized laboratories in Iraq for this day; thus the total number of samples since the beginning of disease in Iraq reached 793024, according to a statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "The new infected cases are distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 421, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 310, Medical City 30, Najaf 133, Sulaymaniyah 100, Erbil 37, Duhok 5, Karbala 161, Kirkuk 96, Diyala 58, Wasit 146, Basra 172 , Maysan 61, Babel 190, Diwaniyah 86, Dhi Qar 38, Anbar 20, Muthanna 166, Nineveh 24 and Saladin 56".
The statement referred to the 2036 cases of recovery, distributed as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 299, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 354, Medical City 181, Najaf 108, Sulaimaniya 49, Erbil 56, Duhok 13, Karbala 150, Kirkuk 36, Diyala 80, Wasit 208 Basra 116, Maysan 96, Babel 43, Diwaniya 47, Dhi Qar 101, Anbar 11, Nineveh 23 and Saladin 65".
The deaths reached 90 cases as follows: Baghdad / Rusafa 15, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 10, Medical City 2, Najaf 2, Sulaymaniyah 7, Erbil 4, Karbala 2, Kirkuk 11, Diyala 1, Wasit 1, Basra 6, Maysan 3 , Babylon 6, Diwaniyah 6, Dhi Qar 9, Anbar 2, Al Muthanna 1 and Saladin 2".
The statement pointed out that "the epidemiological data of COVID-19 is as follows: total recovered cases are 60528, total infections are 92530, total patients are 28221, total intensive care cases are 389 and total deaths are 3781".
