The Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS) announced on Tuesday, the arrest of a terrorist and two drug dealers, and the destruction of several hideouts in separate operations.
A statement by the agency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the security forces in the Counter-Terrorism Service were able to arrest one of the terrorists, who works in the position of so-called (military) in the terrorist ISIS gangs in Anbar Governorate."
Within the framework of the ongoing efforts to combat the scourge of drugs, the statement added that "the Counter-Terrorism Service was able to arrest two drug dealers in Basra Governorate."
It indicated that "an airdrop operation was carried out to clear and search hideouts, tunnels and caves in Kirkuk Governorate, resulting in the destruction of (7) hideouts of the terrorist ISIS."
