Media Commission: We seek to encourage investment in digital projects

    The Communications and Media Commission confirmed, on Monday, its endeavor to encourage investment in digital projects and remove obstacles facing users.
     
    The representative of the Chairman of the Communications and Media Commission, Ahmed Walid, said in a speech during the Iraqi Digital Space Forum attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The Commission continues to encourage investment in digital projects and remove obstacles facing their use in coordination with the relevant authorities."
     
    He added, "Since the world began to witness the digital transformation, we have faced great challenges, but at the same time, we have been able to achieve development and growth, and with opportunities come great responsibilities, especially in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, technology and the economy, which will contribute to the development of society, through digital transformation."
     
    Walid continued, "We at the Commission are aware of the importance of digital transformation to achieve economic and social development, and through our continuous work, we are keen to create a strong digital infrastructure and enhance the skills of national cadres in this field, develop digital skills that are an essential part of digital transformation, and develop policies that support innovation and development."
