Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed today, Thursday, that it is unimaginable that the Sadrist movement will not participate in the elections.
Al-Kadhimi said in a tweet on his account on "Twitter", followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the nation needs the solidarity of all, the people, and the political forces that participate in the elections in an honorable competition without being misled."
He added: "We have a historical responsibility to protect Iraq by reaching free and fair elections," noting that "the Sadrist movement is an important segment of society, and it is unimaginable not to participate in the elections."
He concluded his tweet by saying: "Iraq is a trust in everyone's neck."
