Thwarting an ISIS infiltration attempt west of Tuz Khurmatu

    The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Thursday, foiling an infiltration operation by ISIS west of Tuz Khurmatu.
     
    PMF stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that a force from the intelligence and security forces of the 52nd Brigade thwarted an infiltration operation by ISIS near Haleiwa Airport, west of Tuz Khurmatu district in Salah al-Din province.
     
    PMF added that the operation took place after monitoring the movements of ISIS in the aforementioned area, as the force headed there and forced them to retreat to the area from which they came from.
