Al-Awadi: The Prime Minister's visit to Iran discuss regional developments and events in Syria

The official government spokesman, Bassem Al-Awadi, confirmed today, Wednesday, that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani's visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran discussed developments in the region and events in Syria.

Al-Awadi said in a statement to Al-Iraqiya News, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The visit of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to the Islamic Republic of Iran discussed developments in the region and events in Syria," noting that "the Prime Minister's visit is important and pivotal."

He added, "It is necessary to pay attention to the memoranda of understanding and agreements signed with neighboring countries."
