US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed, today, Wednesday, that an agreement regarding hostages and a ceasefire in the Middle East is close, explaining that we hope to achieve a ceasefire in the time remaining to us.
"We are very close to an agreement on hostages and a ceasefire in the Middle East," Blinken said in a press statement.
He added that "the US administration headed by Biden hopes to achieve it in the time remaining to it."
