The counter terrorist system dismantled a network affiliated with Daesh, which was planning to carry out terrorist operations in Baghdad and Anbar. The spokesperson for the Anti-Terrorism Agency, Sabah Al-Numan, told the Iraqi News Agency today, Wednesday, that the command of the first special operations, one of the formations of the counter terrorist system, carried out a duty in the Karmah area of Fallujah, through which it dismantled a network of Daesh gangs that were planning to carry out terrorist operations targeting civilians in Baghdad and Anbar.
He added that the counter terrorist system also managed to arrest 10 terrorists from within the network that was planning to carry out terrorist operations and seize weapons, equipment and ammunition.
