Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani offered his condolences on Saturday on the passing of the owner of Al-Shabandar Cafe.
The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani offers his condolences on the passing of the social figure Hajj (Mohammed Kadhim Al-Khashali), the owner of Al-Shabandar Cafe, who embodies a milestone in the history of Iraqi culture."
He added that "the deceased represents a distinguished Iraqi case, as in addition to his social impact, he was an example of patience and sacrifice after the martyrdom of four of his sons in the criminal and sinful bombing that targeted Al-Mutanabbi Street in 2007," wishing the deceased "mercy and contentment, and patience and solace for his family and loved ones."
