Salih stresses the importance of coordination to spare Iraq and the region conflicts

The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, affirmed today, Thursday, the importance of work and coordination to spare Iraq and the region conflicts and wars.

The media office of the President of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that President Salih stressed during his reception Turkish Foreign Minister Mawlud Tshawash Oglu the importance of joint action and coordination to spare Iraq and the region conflicts and wars, and rejected the principle of agency war and that Iraq should not be the starting point for any attack on any A neighboring country, stressing the necessity to unify efforts aimed at all parties to address the current crises, restraint and calm in order for the peoples of the region to enjoy stability, security and prosperity.

For his part, the Turkish foreign minister affirmed his country's support for the sovereignty and stability of Iraq, noting "the need to reduce escalating tension and dependency on constructive dialogue to deal with the sensitive situations the region is currently experiencing.
