Iraq won on Tuesday 10 different medals in the Archery Championship in the West Asia Championship, which was held in Saudi Arabia.
"At the West Asia Archery Championship, which was held in the city of Qassim in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq won 10 different medals in the Archery Championship, with the participation of the teams of Syria, Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Palestine, Jordan, and the hosts, the Saudi team," said the head of the Iraqi Archery Federation, Saad Al-Mashhadani, in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Al-Mashhadani added, "Our national archery team has increased its tally of colored medals to ten medals, including three gold, six silver, and one bronze medal."
"The archery competitions resulted in player Rand Saad winning the gold medal in the individual general competitions, after eliminating her competitor from the Saudi national team, while players Abdullah Saad, Ahmed Karim and Samir Adel won the silver medal in the youth team competitions. Rand Saad and Ali Hamad were able to win the silver medal in the mixed competitions," he included.
