National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed today, Sunday, the importance of cooperation between the countries of the region to avoid widening the scope of the conflict.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji and his accompanying delegation held an official meeting in Tehran with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi."
"The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and the region, as well as discussed the border security file between the two countries and the success of the Iraqi government in implementing the joint security agreement, and emphasized the continuation of cooperation to achieve comprehensive and sustainable security for the borders of the two countries."
According to the statement "The importance of cooperation between the countries of the region to avoid widening the scope of the conflict was emphasized, and the importance of strengthening strategic relations between the two countries at all levels."
