Dismantling 4 Terrorist Cells in Southern Iran

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Friday the dismantling of 4 terrorist cells, the arrest of 8 of their members, and the killing of 4 others in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

The spokesman for the "Martyrs of Security Operational Maneuver" of the Revolutionary Guards' Ground Forces, Brigadier General Shafaei, said: "Decisive blows were dealt to terrorist cells last night, Thursday."

Shafaei added, "As part of the continuation of the maneuver in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, eight members of four terrorist and criminal cells were identified and arrested, and four others were killed."

He added, "The total number of detainees reached eight members of the terrorist cells, while four others were killed, and large quantities of weapons and ammunition were seized from these cells."
