Qatari Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti confirmed today, Friday, that his country looks forward to participating effectively in the development road.
Al-Sulaiti said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We are with the rest of the countries participating in the project, trying to reach a successful project by all standards."
He pointed out that "the development road project is important and is progressing rapidly, and we look forward to participating in it effectively," indicating that "our participation is to announce our solidarity and effective participation in the future."
Al-Sulaiti added, "We are waiting for the completion of the project study soon to see everything on the ground, and this is what not only the Iraqi people aspire to, but also the peoples of the region, as we expect there to be an economic return for all participating countries as well as those that did not participate, because the development road will be a fast road that transports goods from the east to the west, and we hope to advance it quickly under the leadership of the Iraqi Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi."
