Communications Minister announces increase in revenues from international communications capacities through Iraq

Minister of Communications Hiyam Al-Yasiri announced on Friday, an increase in revenues from international communications capacities across Iraq.
 
Al-Yasiri said - according to the statement - to the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The international communications (transit) capacities that the ministry succeeded in passing through Iraq amounted to (1400G) until the middle of this year after it was 10G over the previous years of this government."
 
The statement added, "The ministry was able to achieve a significant increase in financial revenues for transit capacities, which amounted to one million and eight hundred thousand dollars until the middle of this year after it was three hundred and thirty-six thousand and one hundred and fifty-two dollars during 2022."
