The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday the martyrdom of 7 civilians and the injury of 11 others in the Zionist aggression in the capital Damascus, Syria.

"The Zionist entity launched an air aggression with three missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential and commercial building in the densely populated Mezzeh neighborhood in Damascus," according to a statement by the ministry quoted a military source - followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He added that "the Zionist aggression resulted in the martyrdom of 7 civilians, including children and women, in addition to the injury of 11 others as a preliminary toll, causing significant material damage to private property in the surrounding area, while work is still ongoing to rescue others from under the rubble."
