Baghdad - INA
Minister of Youth and Sports Ahmed Al-Mubarqa confirmed today, Friday, that the Baghdad Book Fair in its twenty-fifth session is a bright image of the civilized level of Iraq.
Al-Mubarqa told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The book has a clear impact in consolidating national awareness, and there is no doubt that the book is an important source of knowledge in confronting the sources that trivialize society and flatten its thinking," noting that "the Ministry of Youth supports this exhibition, and hopes that thousands of young people will benefit from free purchase coupons worth (25) thousand dinars.
He continued that "the exhibition contributes to attracting young people from electronic reading to paper reading," noting that "the book fair carries within its folds and wings a bright image to the world, clarifying the civilized level that Iraq has reached."
