A force from ICTS carries out a raid on a hideout of ISIS gangs in Anbar

    The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced on Sunday, the implementation of a landing operation on a hideout of ISIS terrorist gangs in Anbar.

    JOC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "In continuation of the preemptive operations to pursue the remaining remnants and detachments of the defeated terrorist ISIS, with accurate intelligence work and follow-up by the Counter-Terrorism Service, planning and follow-up by the Joint Operations Command, and under the supervision of the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations from within the targeting cell, at 4:00 a.m. today, the Counter-Terrorism Service, in a joint operation with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and with the support of the Army Aviation and the Air Force, carried out an airborne force landing operation in the Anbar desert on one of the dens used by the terrorist ISIS elements."
     
    The statement added, "The operation resulted in the discovery of important technical evidence, devices, phones, computers and records hidden by ISIS terrorist gangs in this hideout."
     
    It stressed that "this qualitative operation comes through extensive intelligence work by the security services and the use of technology and technical equipment, and obtaining very important results related to the locations, names and movements of the failed ISIS detachments that are breathing their last breaths due to the intensive preemptive security work."
