Baghdad International Airport announced on Monday, full readiness to receive visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), stressing the preparation of halls, buses and special vehicles to receive visitors of Arbaeen.
"Based on the directives of the Minister of Transport, the Baghdad International Airport administration has begun full preparations to receive visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)," said Baghdad International Airport Director Harith Al-Obaidi to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He included, "All Baghdad Airport halls are ready with their full capacity to receive visitors, as all services have been prepared for visitors and special buses as well as vehicles have been prepared to transport them from Baghdad Airport to Karbala."
"The capacity of Baghdad Airport during peak times is estimated at 80 to 95 flights per day, receiving all companies," he noted, adding, "Baghdad Airport is fully prepared to receive all companies. The focus has been on increasing flights to Iran, Lebanon and Pakistan for visitors and all other companies."
