Statistics showing the number of visitors arriving through Iraq's airports and border crossings within one day

Iraqi Border Port Commission-BPC announced on Friday, the number of visitors arriving to Iraq through its international airports and border crossings during Thursday.

"The total number of visitors for Thursday, 8/9/2022, through Iraq's border ports and Baghdad and Najaf International Airports, reached to 333,364 visitors," BPC spokesman, Alaa Al-Din Al-Qaisi, told the Iraq News Agency (INA).
Al-Qaisi added that “Zurbatiyah border crossing received yesterday, Thursday, 164,935 visitors, while Shalamcheh border crossing received 75,557 visitors, while the number of visitors arriving through Al-Sheeb border crossing reached 50,203 visitors."

He continued, "While Al-Muntheriya border crossing, received 30,575 visitors, and Safwan border crossing received 1,960 visitors."

He pointed out that "Baghdad International Airport received 1,125 incoming visitors yesterday, while Najaf Airport received 9,099 visitors."
