Interior Ministry: 2 detained on drug related charges

    The Interior Ministry announced on Friday the arrest of two suspects accused of drug trafficking and promotion in Baghdad.

     

     

    According to a ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "a force from the Third Brigade was able to arrest two suspects, wanted under Article (28 drugs) in (Karrada) area of Baghdad."

     

     

    The statment added, "They were seized in possession of 42 grams of crystal meth, an electronic scale, Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol, and tools for using drugs), noting that "they were referred with the materials seized to the competent authorities."
