The Iraqi Football Association announced on Monday, the completion of documents for Swedish Örebro player, Lucas Shlimon.
"The Professional Players Committee made exceptional efforts to complete the required documents for the 21-year-old player," said the member of the Executive Office of the Iraqi Football Association, Ghanim Aribi, in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He indicated that "the last step separating the player from representing the national Iraqi team is related to transferring his documents from the Swedish Federation to the Iraqi Federation, as the player has represented the teams in Sweden".
"The actual steps have begun to transfer the player's file so that he is officially available to play for the colors of the Lions of Mesopotamia," he included.
