Barcelona star Lamine Yamal revealed today, Saturday, the secret behind hiding his controversial photo with Lionel Messi, the legend of Barcelona and the Argentine national team.

In recent weeks, photos of Yamal as a child with his legend Lionel Messi have appeared during one of Barcelona's charity campaigns.

Yamal said, in statements highlighted by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo": "I will not wear the number 10 in the new season, because it belongs to Ansu Fati, so this shirt is not available.".

Regarding his exciting photo with Messi, Yamal said: "My parents already had the photo, but we did not show it because we did not want people to compare me to Messi from the beginning.".

He added, "My photo with Messi was a great coincidence. I could have been any other child in Barcelona, and I hope to play against Messi in the Finalissima tournament if Spain and Argentina win the continental titles."
