Yarallah and the Italian Ops commander discuss partnership and experiences

    The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Special Forces, Major General Abdul Amr Rashid Yarallah, discussed on Tuesday, with the Commander of Italian Joint Ops, Lieutenant General Francesco Figliuolo, strengthening the partnership and exchanging experiences between the two sides.


    Yarallah praised "the relations in terms of training and providing advice through Italy being within the NATO mission in Iraq," said the Ministry of Defense in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA. 


    He noted that the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination, strengthening partnership and exchanging experiences.


    The Italian Joint Ops Commander thanked Yarallah "for the good reception," stressing "the continuation of providing all forms of support aimed at developing the capabilities of the Iraqi army and security forces."
