The Hajj and Umrah Commission said today that it completed delegating all pilgrims after the last flight from Baghdad International Airport arrival at Jeddah International Airport.
The Commission said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Hajj Commission was able to delegate the total number of pilgrims to the fullest extent and without any accidents thanks to the strict plans prepared and the concerted efforts with the supporting authorities."
The Commission indicated that "in cooperation with Iraqi Airways and the Civil Aviation Authority, the pilgrims were airlifted to the airports of Medina and Jeddah".
Last Sunday, 2 June, the Commission completed the passage of all pilgrims through the Arar border crossing and their arrival in Mekkah in a smooth and orderly manner.
