A joint force carries out a security operation south of Salah al-Din

Popular Mobilization Forces announced today, Wednesday, the carrying out a security operation south of Salah al-Din.

The authority’s media stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “a joint force from the 43rd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Federal Police carried out a security operation today, Wednesday, south of Salah al-Din Governorate.”
According to the statement, "The operation included searching and securing a number of orchards and farmlands that could be used by ISIS terrorist remnants to hide in."
The authority pointed out, "This operation aims to enhance security and stability throughout the areas of Salah al-Din Governorate and block any attempt to tamper with its security."
