PMF launches operations to cleanse the desert from war remnants

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced, today, Tuesday, the launch of operations to cleanse the desert of Al-Najaf from war remnants.

The operations officer for Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Combat Division in the Authority, Hadi Jalil Sahib, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Popular Mobilization Forces, represented by the Imam Ali Combat Division and the Explosives Directorate, began reconnaissance of the Shabaka district, Ghalisan Airport, and the Mesjid area in the Badia axis.” Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf for search and inspection of war remnants, in continuation of the first page during which the Al-Nisf area, Al-Nisf airport and its entire surroundings were completely cleared.”

He added, "The operation comes within the second phase of identifying areas where military remnants and projectiles appear in order to remove them for the safety of farmers and sheep herders in the desert."
