Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) revealed on Friday, the strangest drug smuggling methods while arresting those involved in Basra.
A statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the accused were part of a drug trafficking network consisting of (11) people and active in the governorates of (Basra, Baghdad, Diwaniyah, and Kut)."
The statement added, "Our detachments were initially able to arrest a member of the network red-handed with narcotic drugs, who is a major transporter between the governorates, and then to overthrow the rest of the accused."
It pointed out that "the force found quantities of crystal narcotic substances hidden inside walnuts."
