INSS Capture Terrorist Northern Baghdad following Purchasing Lands for terrorists’ hideouts

Iraqi National Security Service-INSS announced on Monday that, capturing the terrorist (Abu Yasser) in northern Baghdad, indicating that he had purchased lands and prepared them as hideouts.

"A force from INSS carried out a security operation based on a judicial warrant, resulting in the capture of the logistics facilitator of the so-called northern Baghdad sector. The terrorist, codenamed (Abu Yasser), operated as a main facilitator and was tasked with several duties, including:

Transporting Wali of northern Baghdad (Abu Maria-who had been killed by the security forces ) to Al-Taji area using his own vehicle.
Transporting weapons, night vision goggles, phones, and logistical materials between hideouts in Taji area.
Commissioned by the so-called General Military Commander in the northern Baghdad sector to purchase land plots and construct a warehouse with rooms inside it in Taji.

The statement added that “ the extensive intelligence operations conducted by the National Security Service resulted in his capture and subsequent handover to the judicial authorities."
