Salah al-Din Governorate Council voted ,on Sunday, to elect Badr al-Fahal as governor, while the date of voting on his deputies was set.
The head of the provincial council, Adel al-sumaidi ,said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA )that " Salah al-Din provincial council voted today during an emergency session held today, in the presence of 18 members, on Badr al-Fahal as governor”.
Al-Sumaidi added that" the voting took place with all comfort and fluidity and the governor was chosen by the majority, as the local government in Salah al-Din was completed ",stressing that "the two deputy governors will be voted on during the upcoming sessions".
