The First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, emphasized the necessity of cooperation between the legislative and judicial authorities.
“Al-Mandalawi visited the Federal Supreme Court HQ, where he met with its President, Judge Jasim Mohammed Aboud, and other members of the court”, stated the media office of Al-Mandalawi.”During the visit, he extended his congratulations on the opening of the new building in Baghdad.
Al-Mandalawi expressed the Iraqi Parliament’s support for the significant role played by the Federal Supreme Court in upholding the rule of law and strengthening the foundations of Iraq’s democratic experience. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the legislative and judicial branches, particularly in enacting essential laws, and stressed the need to enhance joint efforts in areas such as combating corruption and tackling organized crime.
