Controls for the purchase of weapons are approved by Interior Minister

Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Interior Minister, gave his approval of the controls for the purchase of weapons on Wednesday.

"Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Mekdad Miri stated in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari approved the controls on the purchase of weapons."

"The beginning of this matter will be April 1, 2024, and these controls will be announced later," he continued.
