SMC announces the launch of the third phase of “Waad al-Haq” operations

The Security Media Cell- SMC announced on Saturday, the launch of the third phase of Waad al-Haq operations, with planning, follow-up and supervision by the Joint Operations Command.
 
 “At dawn this day, the third phase of the third Waad al-Haq operation was launched with planning, follow-up and supervision by the Joint Operations Command and the presence of the Ground Forces Command and the command staff bodies in the Diyala Operations Sector, with the participation of units of army , interior Ministry , the men of the Popular Mobilization Forces and  the Counter-Terrorism Service, with direct support from the Air Force Hawks, Army Aviation, and some service and support personnel, support the intelligence efforts of all intelligence directorates and agencies,” SMC stated  in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"This operation was launched with the aim of continuing the pursuit of the defeated terrorist elements, in confirmation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces regarding the continuity of successive victories against terrorist and the security stability the province is witnessing as a result of the heroes efforts of the various security sectors and the support, cooperation and understanding of our people in Diyala Province,” the statement added.
