A suspect who was found in possession of 100,000 "Captagon" pills has been arrested, according to the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substance Affairs in Anbar.
Brigadier General Akram Meshaan Turki Al-Rashed, the director of the Directorate, informed the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the anti-narcotics directorate in Anbar was able to arrest a suspect seized in possession of 100,000 Captagon-type narcotic pills in the province "based on intelligence information and with a strict ambush."
He emphasized that "there is great cooperation between citizens and security services in informing about suspected cases," adding that "the Directorate continues to carry out its duties day and night against promoters, addicts, and dealers of narcotic pills."
