Al-Sudani Participates in the Ceremony Marking the Anniversary of Martyrdom Grand Ayatollah al-Hakim's Martyrdom

    Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani participated in the ceremony organized by the National Wisdom Movement on Saturday morning, marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Baqir al-Hakim.
     
    The Prime Minister said, while attending the memorial ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, “may God have mercy on him,” followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):Prime Minister Al-Sudani, in his address on the occasion, characterized the targeting of Sayyid Al-Hakim as a pivotal moment in the ongoing struggle between terrorism and the Iraqi people. He paid tribute to the martyr, highlighting the profound impact of Sayyid Al-Hakim's legacy, his dedicated fight against dictatorship, and his historical jihad against terrorism.
     
     The following are the highlights of the Prime Minister’s speech:
     
    We persist in embodying the goal for which the Mujahideen sacrificed themselves, centered around the well-being and welfare of the Iraqi people.
     Our commitment remains unwavering as we forge ahead on the path of reconstruction and reform, aiming to elevate the standard of living and enhance services for citizens across Iraq.

     The blood of the nation's martyrs was shed indiscriminately for the sake of all of Iraq.
     We honor the memory of the martyrs by safeguarding the achieved security and stability, acknowledging that their sacrifices were instrumental in making this progress possible.

     The sacrifices demand responsible action from us to navigate through the complex stage and overcome the challenging circumstances that the region is currently facing.

    The experiences of the martyrs have imparted the vital lesson of solidarity, especially in addressing critical issues.
     The government has initiated the implementation of its program, outlining a vision for a future Iraq that is united, strong, independent, stable, and prosperous.

     We have pursued a path of fundamental reforms aimed at addressing long-term needs.

     Our focus has been on tackling the misuse of public funds while prioritizing infrastructure in the economy, services, and financial and banking sectors. This strategic approach aims to propel development and generate opportunities for both current and future generations.

    We pay tribute to the martyrs of the Palestinian people, facing a relentless killing machine wielded by occupation authorities that perpetrate heinous crimes against defenseless civilians on a daily basis.
