For his part, the head of the Nabni Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We strongly condemn the heinous crime committed by the criminal American forces, by targeting one of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the capital, Baghdad, this day, by assassinating the martyr Commander Abu Taqwa Al-Saeedi and his companions.".

He continued: "We also hold the Iraqi government responsible for any disregard or laxity in the serious demand for the immediate removal of the so-called international coalition forces from Iraqi soil," pointing out, "We confirm our previous positions on this presence, which has become a threat to the security and safety of the Iraqi people, and an infringement blatantly against Iraqi sovereignty."

The Secretary-General of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, condemned the attack on the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Baghdad.

He said in a blog post on the “X” platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “In a blatant violation of pure blood, a blatant violation of the security and sovereignty of Iraq, and an unacceptable act of terrorism, the occupying American forces targeted the Deputy Commander of Baghdad Belt Operations, the martyr Abu Taqwa Al-Saidi, and his companion, the martyr Abu Sajjad, one of the leaders of the 12th Brigade in the Popular Mobilization Forces, and a number of members were injured by drones that targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the heart of the capital, Baghdad.”.

He added, "The American forces that committed this terrorist crime bear full responsibility for violating Iraqi sovereignty and attacking our mujahideen brothers in the Popular Mobilization Forces. At a time when we affirm that statements and denunciations are no longer useful in light of the repeated crimes and violations, we call on the Iraqi government to take decisive steps to end the presence of the so-called (international coalition) in Iraq, remove all occupying foreign forces as quickly as possible, and cut off the pretexts that the Americans use to prolong their presence on our land and in our skies. We also stress the necessity of legally holding these forces accountable for their crimes and violations.” .

The head of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, also confirmed in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the American aggression that today targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Baghdad, and resulted in the martyrdom of Commander Abu Taqwa al-Saidi and his companions and the injury of others, is a criminal act that we condemn.” We strongly consider it a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty, an insult to the state, its capabilities and its prestige, and an infringement on the dignity of the Iraqi people, known for their zeal and willingness to sacrifice in defense of their dignity and sovereignty and it may push the entire region to further escalation, the consequences of which are ominous.”

Hamoudi stated that “the government and the state in general are the only ones responsible for preserving Iraq’s security and sovereignty from any transgression by any party,” calling on the House of Representatives to “take its role in supporting the government in defending sovereignty and preserving the prestige of the Iraqi state.”

In turn, the Islamic Dawa Party denounced, on Thursday, the attack on one of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces today.
The party's political office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "in a sinful and unjustified attack, a drone targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and led to the martyrdom of a number of its leaders. This is a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty in the heart of its capital."

He added, “As we denounce this brutal attack that was repeated recently, we call on the national forces and popular institutions to assume their responsibilities and express their positions, and we call on the Iraqi government to take all measures against the aggressors, assume its responsibilities in this regard, and determine the national and political position on the presence of foreign forces under any title on its lands,” concluding by saying: “Mercy and satisfaction for the martyrs and healing for the injured.”.

On Thursday, the Security and Defense Committee in the House of Representatives also condemned the attack.
The committee stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, represented by its chairman and members, condemns and denounces the attack that was carried out by a drone and its targeting of one of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the capital, Baghdad, affiliated with the (12th) Brigade, near the building of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, which led to To the martyrdom of Commander Abu Taqwa Al-Saidi, Assistant Commander of Baghdad Belt Operations for the Popular Mobilization Forces, and his companion, the martyr Ali Nayef.”

In addetion to that, "The committee affirms its full support for Iraqi sovereignty and not to infringe upon it, stressing that the Iraqi government should begin activating the House of Representatives resolution that obligates the government to work to end the presence of any foreign forces on Iraqi soil, especially (the forces of the United States of America).".

The Committee also continued, "The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee calls on the Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives to hold an emergency session to discuss the repercussions of the recent attack and come up with recommendations that preserve the lives of Iraqis, protect them, and not infringe on sovereignty.".

The Committee aslo concluded, “The committee extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy and dwell them in His spacious Paradise.”.

In turn, the Secretary of the Sayyid Martyrs Brigades, Abu Alaa Al-Wala’i, condemned the attack and said in a blog post on his account on the (X) website, “The hateful American occupation does not want to take lessons from history, so it insists on targeting men who see death as nothing but happiness and life with the occupation as nothing but destruction.”.

He added, "Attempting to twist the arm of the resistance by targeting the Holy Mobilization Forces is a cheap and cowardly method that will double the level of public rejection of the American presence, and will turn into an absolute popular mandate for Islamic resistance operations, to continue until the last occupation soldier is expelled
from Iraq, and between us and you is the field."

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Al-Azm Alliance condemned the bombing that targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces on Palestine Street, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of members of the Mobilization Forces, calling for “a cessation of any external interference that threatens the security and stability of Iraq.”

He stressed "the necessity of observing and respecting international and humanitarian laws," explaining that "military escalation will not lead to a resolution of conflicts and tensions, but rather will further complicate the situation and endanger regional and international security. It will cast a negative shadow on the security situation in Iraq and the region in general, complicate the situation and undermine opportunities for finding solutions to calm the ongoing conflict in the region.

The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced earlier today, Thursday, that the Iraqi forces hold the international coalition responsible for the attack on a security headquarters in Baghdad.

Major General Rasoul said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “In a blatant assault and blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and security, a drone committed an act no different from terrorist acts, by targeting one of the security headquarters in the capital, Baghdad, today, Thursday, which led to “There were casualties in this incident, which is completely unacceptable.”

He added, "The Iraqi Armed Forces hold the international coalition forces responsible for this unprovoked attack on an Iraqi security body that operates according to the powers granted to it by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces," pointing out that "this undermines all understandings between the Iraqi armed forces and the international coalition forces."
Rasoul considered that this targeting constitutes "a dangerous escalation and assault on Iraq, far from the spirit and letter of the mandate and the work for which the international coalition was created in Iraq."
