Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani discussed with former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, on Saturday, the government's efforts to achieve economic reform and continue the construction and reconstruction process.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi. The meeting included discussions on strengthening government efforts to achieve economic reform, continuing the construction and reconstruction process taking place in all Iraqi governorates, and meeting citizens' aspirations."
The statement added that "the meeting discussed developments in the region and the importance of coordinating efforts to support all steps that contribute to enhancing Iraq's security and ensuring its stability."
