Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed Saturday that the fight against corruption has no red lines, indicating that the government is working on a fundamental reform of the economy.

Al-Sudani said during the celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the Badr Organization, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We will not hesitate to proceed with our program in order to present a quantum leap and confront crises with determination," noting that "the government has made great strides in achieving the oil agreement with the region."

He added, "We made an effort to provide job opportunities for the poor of the Iraqi people and give them the right to live in a country worthy of them and their history," adding, "We affirm our firm belief in the right of the Iraqi people to a decent life and a service government that raises the quality of what it provides to people."

Below is the text of the Prime Minister’s speech at the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Badr Organization:

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.”(69)

We meet today on the anniversary of the founding of a national jihadist movement, which carries great meanings, offered a lot for the salvation and renaissance of the Iraqi people, and worked to shake up the ashes of authoritarianism and restore historical status among nations.

May Iraq return dear and healthy, despite all the blood that was shed for this goal.

The Badr Organization, as we stand on the forty-second anniversary of its founding, was a gesture of courageous rejection of the fate that the dictatorship wanted for this living people.

The honorable positions of Badr are not mentioned without mentioning the biography of the martyr of the mihrab, Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, may God be pleased with him, the shepherd of its victories, the bearer of the standard of its martyrs, and the contributor to the birth of Iraq.

This jihadist platform arose as an umbrella announcing to the whole world that a group of believers in God, their country, and their Iraqiness reject the continuation of the ugliness of tyranny. And they cheapen their lives for the sake of God’s pleasure and the salvation of the Iraqis, and this is what it was.

Rather, they continued the past with the present, so they sacrificed their blood again, when takfiri terrorism threatened all of our countries, and they presented martyr after martyr under the banner of Iraq and for it. Since the fall of the fallen regime, Badr's men have participated in building the political process, and have contributed a lot for a constitutional, democratic Iraq that enjoys dignity and freedom.

Our loyalty to those brave people, we see today in enhancing the value of work, and defeating all the pests that threaten our society. In our fight against administrative and financial corruption without red lines, and our effort to provide opportunities for dignity and work, and to lift the poor among the sons of this people, and grant them the right to live in a country worthy of them and their history, all of this is the essence of what we are proud of in our work as we remember those who sacrificed.

We will not hesitate to proceed with our program, adhering to the principles of jihad and loyalty to Iraq and the Iraqis, in order to provide a qualitative leap, and to address crises with competence and determination, adhering to a firm belief in the right of the Iraqi people to a decent life, and a service government that raises the quality of what it provides to people.

Your brothers have been able, through the available tools, mechanisms and financing, and in a short period of time, to make a service difference, and to move projects that have stagnated for years, and we cut off, with clear procedures, the roots of corruption whose owners thought that they would continue forever, just as Iraq's foreign relations were strengthened, on the basis of Iraq's interests, equal partnership and mutual respect.

With these confident steps, your government does not turn away from the struggle of the mujahideen for a strong, independent and prosperous Iraq, of which we are proud and whose name we are always proud of among nations.

The government has worked in this short period to achieve stability by preserving the provisions of the political agreement of the State Administration Coalition, and specifically, we have come a significant way in resolving oil and gas problems and related constitutional decisions and mechanisms of action, and here I commend the role of the brother, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani who shares this ceremony with us for his efforts to strengthen the bonds of the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil and to confront all obstacles in a constructive and responsible spirit.

We are working today, with full care, enthusiasm and determination, to put in place a radical reform in the economy, and to leave any faltering path, and for this we presented a draft budget covering three years with a scientific and studied future vision, a budget that centered for the first time on the government program and included many bright spots that represent the clear path for reform and development.

We congratulate the fighter brother, Hajj Hadi al-Amiri, on this fragrant memory, and his comrades for what they have done, and we remind him of his great role in the political process and his role in supporting the government to implement its program, in order to achieve the aspirations of the citizens, and this is our first concern and before anything else.

Blessed are the first, and glory and elevation to those who have walked the path.

Glory, mercy and pride to all the martyrs of Iraq.

Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah.
