The Lebanese army announced today, Tuesday, the start of the deployment of its forces in a number of towns, after the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy from them in the south of the country.
A statement by the Lebanese army said, "Units of the army have begun deploying to position themselves in Ras al-Naqoura, Alma al-Shaab, Tyre Harfa, Sur Beit Lif, Bint Jbeil, and other towns in the western and central sectors, after the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy from them, while deployment is being completed in al-Naqoura."
The statement added, "The specialized engineering survey units are following up to remove unexploded ordnance, opening roads, and removing rubble, in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon - UNIFIL and the five-member committee supervising the ceasefire agreement."
The statement added, "This deployment comes in conjunction with a tour of the region by the head of the committee, the American general, and its two members, the French general and the commander of the South Litani sector in the army."
The Lebanese Army Command called on "citizens not to approach the area, and to adhere to the instructions of the military units until the deployment ends."
