PMF launches a massive inspection operation in Mosul

Popular Mobilization Forces PMF announced Thursday, implementing a large inspection operation in Mosul with the participation of security forces, to search for ISIS terrorist remnants and achieve security and stability.

A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “a force from the 30th Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and in conjunction with the security forces, carried out a wide security inspection operation in Mosul.”

The statement added that "The security operation included searching the areas of Al-Bu Saif and Al-Shamsiyat, where a large-scale security survey and inspection operation was carried out within the sector of responsibility."

The statement pointed out that "The security operation aims to maintain security and stability in the sector, preserve the safety of civilians, and search for ISIS terrorist remnants within the areas of responsibility."
