The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced today, Tuesday, the launch of a new security operation south of Mosul.
PMF said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Nineveh Operation Command at the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Army launched an inspection operation for a number of villages south of Mosul," noting that "the 33 and 21 Brigades of the PMF, Intelligence and the 16th Army Division participated in the operation to inspect the village of Dabasha and its neighboring villages, which are located south of Mosul ".
The statement added, "The operation came according to intelligence information to pursue ISIS remnants and make a security checks of some suspected people."
