Yarallah oversees deployment of units along the border strip in Al-Qaim

A high-level security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Special Forces Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, Saturday, at the 7th Infantry Division sector in Al-Qaim, to oversee the security situation and the deployment of the units on the border strip.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “The Chief of Staff of the Army, Special Forces Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, and the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, arrived at the 7th Infantry Division sector in Al-Qaim, accompanied by the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations and the Commander of the Ground Forces.”

The statement added, "The visit came to review the security situation and the deployment of units on the border strip."
