Iraqi Airways announced the resumption of flights with Georgia on the ninth of next June.
A statement by the Ministry of Transport, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "Based on the directives of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, on the need to diversify the destinations of the national carrier and with direct supervision and follow-up by the management of the General Company of Iraqi Airways, represented by its general manager, Manaf Abdel Moneim, the resumption of The company's flights directly between Baghdad and Tbilisi (Republic of Georgia), starting from the ninth of next June.
He added, "The service of issuing entry visas to Georgian lands will be exclusive to passengers aboard its air fleet."
