In a message marking the 104th anniversary of the Iraqi Army’s founding, the leader of the National Movement Muqtada al-Sadr lauded the military’s dedication to the nation. He underscored the profound connection between patriotism and faith, emphasizing that Iraq is worthy of every sacrifice and unwavering loyalty.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to all the commanders and personnel, across all ranks and divisions,” al-Sadr expressed. “We hope they remain steadfast in their love for the homeland and its people. May Allah shield them from harm, corruption, and foreign dependency, allowing them to continue as free guardians of their country. Patriotism is faith, and our beloved Iraq deserves every ounce of sacrifice, devotion, and loyalty.”
