The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced on Wednesday, the facilitation of all procedures for the entry mechanism for travelers to Baghdad International Airport, starting next Saturday.
"Based on the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammed S. Al-Sudani, the entry of travelers to Baghdad International Airport will be facilitated, starting from the date of April 29, next Saturday of this month, after the completion of the committee. It will allow the wheels of travelers who hold travel tickets on the date of the flight and for those departing only to reach the airport gates, with checking the documents of the wheel and its registration as well as driver’s license," said the head of the authority, Imad Abdul Razzaq Al-Asadi, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "The Civil Aviation Authority is committed to achieving the highest level of security with the supportive security services, which the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) urges, by subjecting everyone to checking and inspection procedures."
