Interior Minister: Plan to restore security in Tarmiyah

    As part of his field tour in Tarmiyah district in Baghdad, Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari stressed the development of a plan to restore the security system in the district .

    The Ministry of Interior said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), on Monday that "in conjunction with the days of Eid al-Fitr, and within its field tours, Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari visited Tarmiya district north of the capital Baghdad, accompanied by the Undersecretary for Police Affairs, Baghdad Operations Commander, Karkh Police Commander.”

    The statement added that "Al-Shammari visited a number of Tarmiya areas and markets, and met with a group of citizens and listened to their requests and needs, stressing that there is a plan to restore the security system in the district , and citizens will see the noticeable improvement in Tarmiya in the near future."

    During his tour, the Minister of Interior stressed that the security and service needs of the Tarmiya district will be provided for the joints and formations of the Ministry of Interior, including traffic, civil defense, combating crime, combating drugs and organized crime to enhance security and stability in this district .

    The statement continued that "during the tour, Al-Shammari inspected the Judicial Police Department, the Intelligence Department, the Tarmiya Police Station , and was briefed on the most important duties and tasks carried out by the security services there."
