PMF issues a statement regarding the martyrdom of its 4 fighters in AL-Tarmiyah

    The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) issued a statement regarding the martyrdom and wounding of a number of its fighters in the AL-Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad.
     
    PMF stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “once again, the blood of the heroic PMF’s fighters is shedding in another confrontation against the criminal ISIS groups in AL-Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad, where its cells are taking shelters and hideouts not far from the vigilant eyes for the sake of the security of the capital and the nearby provinces.”
     
    "The terrorist operation comes at the 2nd week of the security ops carried out by Popular Mobilization Forces to purge the districts, which is an unquestionable proof that terrorism is still active and moving on the outskirts of the capital and in the most dangerous area separating Baghdad, Salah al-Din and Anbar", the statement added.
     
    “PMF presents a constellation of its men as martyrs, who are: deputy commanding officer of the commando regiment in the 12th  Brigade, Dargham Adnan Hani Ibrahim Al-Janabi, Ali Kadhim Hatem Taher Al-Azergawi, Youssef Muhammad Jassim Hani Al-Karimawi, and Muhammad Hamza Nasser Hussein Al-Jubouri, and the wounded are: Riyad Nouri Ali Hassan Al-Janabi." , Murtada Ali Lafta Hamid Al-Daraji, Haider Kribij Jabbar Athafa Al-Atwi, Hussein Kadhim Khudair Salman Al-Masoudi, Muhannad Munir Abdullah Hamid Al-Asadi, and Muhammad Sattar Fadel Ali Al-Karaawi.”
     
    "We express our pride in what these courageous people offer, while we renew our pledge to the people of the capital, Baghdad, to continue the ongoing and subsequent purification operations in AL-Tarmiyah until achieving the full security and stability."
     
    Meanwhile, The Joint Operations Command had mourned four fighters from PMF upon their martyrdom in the AL-Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad.
     
    Earlier, the Popular Mobilization forces announced that it had repelled an attack on ISIS terrorist gangs in the AL-Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad.
