Al-Kadhimi announces the launch of new security operation in Tarmiyah

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced on Monday, the launch of a new security operation in the Tarmiyah district, while affirming the overcoming of many challenges and  a lot of internal and external crises.

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that Al-Kadhimi visited the Military Operations Command in Tarmiyah and met with the security commanders there.
 
Al-Kadhimi stressed that combating terrorism is a collective responsibility that must be shared by all, as eliminating terrorism and drying up its sources requires determination and strength from you all, and it also achieved through cooperation between the state and the citizen.
 
He added, we must reimplement the security plans used to confront the sleeper cells and prevent any violations, as additional forces will be reinforced in Tarmiyah, affirming the need to work, cooperate and coordinate professionally to improve performance, and obtain successful results. 
Al-Kadhimi called the people of Tarmiyah to continue their cooperate and report any suspicious move in the district, to confront ISIS terrorist gangs, as well as to form a council of local notables in the district, to deal and communicate with the security forces at various levels.
 
Al-Kadhimi announced, the launch of a new security operation, in cooperation with the people of Tarmiyah, to eliminate the sleeper cells in there, stressing the need to pay attention of all the extremist voices, which are looking for opportunities to create a social rift between Iraqis and create sectarian tension, these voices are rejected by everyone, The Iraqis have proven that they have not been dragged behind such malicious rhetoric.
 
He pointed out “Iraq is going through very sensitive circumstances today, and we have succeeded in overcoming many internal and external crises and many challenges as well , we have two months before the early elections that will form a new government, to continue  what we have achieved during the past year and months”.
 
Al-Kadhimi also added that Iraqis are at a great historical turning point, as everyone must cooperate and help to cross it, and achieve the supreme national interests, stressing  that the work to establish a strong and successful Iraqi state with effective and professional institutions,  the matter that cannot be achieved without a conscious and effective contribution by the citizens themselves.
